When i was introduced to Electronic dance music I never thought that it would have such an affect on my life, I remember it like it was yesterday when I got my first tape of thunderdome, it is very hard and very fast music, but I loved it.
It was in 1997 when I attended my first “rave” party in Namibia and I totally loved it, the music just seemed to take me places, shortly after that I started to develop an interest in how the DJ was able to do what he/she does to get the crowd moving, I wanted to know how it was possible for the DJ to know exactly which song to pick to get you jamming. I started playing around with a dj program called virtual turntables (VTT), which a buddy of mine showed me, I was immediately hooked on it, I even played around with it at a party in 2000 thanks to Luna Shamanix, it was then that I understood the power of a DJ.
I continued playing around with VTT and a few years after my unofficial debut a friend gave me a program called Traktor, it was the best program to play around with, I totally loved it, gaining experience at house parties and understanding the threads that DJ’s use to make people jam.

In 2004 I purchased my first set of CD players and started messing about with them, I thought to myself I know how to use Traktor so using cd players would be a walk in the park, but boy was I wrong. It was not until 2 years later in 2006 when I had my official DJ debut at the first WackaZoo Party, that I fully understood the wonders of cdplayers and how it is really like to entertain a crowd, even though my music taste is quite big I still try to make it enjoyable for any one that comes and listens to my music.

In 2010 my best mate and fellow DJaine Vixon bought herself a set of turntables and has shown me the ropes on them, so now the only thing that is missing is the production side of it, but I am slowly learning how to do that as well, so maybe pretty soon I will be using programs like Cubase or Albeton Live.
