From the time I was 16, I was really in to the DJing after going to my first party and watching the DJ doing his thing. He was the heart of it all, and I wanted to do what he did, make people move fast or slow, and best of all, keep them entertained. I bought my first mixer and used 2 portable cd players and an old record player to start out with house parties and school functions. My friends and listeners told me I got talent and should consider exploiting it. That’s when I began to take it more seriously and looked for other DJ’s who were willing to give me time with their equipment and practice sessions so that I could give it a go.
